Jail Time For A Sask. Man On 10 Charges

Guilty pleas have been entered by a Fishing Lake First Nation man, in connection with a disturbance on and around the reserve. On December 10th, RCMP responded to a report of a man threatening an individual at a security checkpoint on the Fishing Lake First Nation, before fleeing. Officers located the suspect in an SUV in Wadena, but it fled, before causing a collison on Highway 16 south of the reserve, where the suspect was arrested. 31-year-old Joseph Desjarlais admitted to ten charges, and was sentenced to 1235 days in prison.
