Ottawa To Extend COVID Benefits

The federal government is extending the repayment deadline for Canada Emergency Business Account. International Trade Minister Mary Ing also says equivalent relief through the regional recovery fund is being extended to give businesses more flexibility in repayment.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was asked if his government was contemplating a similar move, but side-stepped the question saying more details are needed before he can comment.
