A new court date has been set for a Dauphin man, who was arrested while in possession of a knife.

30-year-old Kyle Sutherland appeared in Dauphin Court today, where he was remanded in custody for Tuesday.

At about 3:45 Wednesday afternoon, Mounties were called to a home, on a report of a man with a knife.

When police located the suspect a short distance away, they say he drew a knife, and a Conducted Energy Weapon was used to subdue him.
