It’s jail time for one of two friends, who saw their argument in Yorkton turn violent.

In Yorkton Provincial Court today (Mon), Sidney Brandon was sentenced to 6 months behind bars, less 9 days already served, on one count of Aggravated Assault.

In March of 2020, Yorkton RCMP were called to a west-end bar, on a report of a man suffering from a stab wound.

The investigation led them to a home on Franklin Avenue, where they found another man, with facial injuries.
