Four individuals were found deceased yesterday near the Canada-US border, roughly 10-kilometres east of Emerson, Manitoba.

In the morning, US Customs apprehended a group of individuals that had crossed in the US from Canada, with one of the adults carrying items meant for an infant, however, there was no infant with the group.

A search ensure, and a few hours later four deceased individuals were found on the Canadian side of the border, an adult male, an adult female, a male in his mid-teens, and an infant.

The cause of the death is still to be confirmed, however, it is believed that all four individuals died due to exposure to the cold weather.
