Thousands of recoveries from COVID-19 were reported in Manitoba.

The province identified 851 new cases of the virus, and 6-thousand 809 recoveries, leaving 35-tohusand 742 active cases, including 3-thousand 850 in the Prairie Mountain Health region.

Hospitalizations continue to increase with 665 Manitobans in hospital, a jump of 34, however, ICU admissions did not increase and remains at 50.

Another eight deaths due to the virus were announced, bringing the provincial total to 1-thousand 485.
