Broadview RCMP are warning of scammers using their phone number to trick call-displays, and pretending to be police officers. They say the targets Social Insurance Number has been compromised, and asks for the number. RCMP say they do not call to ask for a person’s SIN number, and suggests you ignore the call, or hang up.
