A protest of the federal vaccine mandates is taking place in the form of a convoy of semi-truck drivers. Starting yesterday (Sun) in British Columbia, three legs of the journey is taking place in Saskatchewan, with convoys from Lloydminster, Prince Albert and Calgary all arriving in Balgoine.  The convoy will leave Balgonie tomorrow when they head to Kenora, Ontario and wrap up on Saturday in Ottawa. The protest is in regards to a vaccine mandate that states that truck drivers must show proof of vaccination to avoid taking COVID-19 tests at the Canada-US border, while unvaccinated American truck drivers are not allowed to enter Canada.
