A Sask. Man Facing 18 Charges Was Back In Court

A George Gordon First Nation man arrested on 18 charges by Punnichy RCMP related to three incidents on the reserve late last month remains in custody after making his first court appearance. December 24th, a man entered a home, discharged a firearm and demanded money from one resident, and assaulted another. On Christmas Day, Mounties say a firearm was discharged at the same home, and on the 29th, the building’s exterior was damaged by fire. Joshua Bitternose appeared yesterday in Regina Provincial Court and had his matters adjourned to today in Punnichy.
