Residents across the northern part of the Parkland Region shivered through a power outage this morning. SaskPower first reported the problem at about 7:15 this (Tue) morning, but service was restored by about 10:30. Communities affected included Kelvington, Wadena, Invermay, Preeceville, Sturgis, Canora, Kamsack, Norquay, and Pelly. The schools in Norquay, Sturgis and Preeceville are closed today, due to the outage.
