- s of January 25th, there are 1,049 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 111,447 reported cases.
- The new cases are located in the Far North West (18), Far North East (15), North West (65), North Central (98), North East (24), Saskatoon (369), Central West (5), Central East (68), Regina (162), South West (21), South Central (30) and South East (26) zones and 148 new cases have pending residence information.
- Of the 1,049 new cases reported today, 170 were unvaccinated or fewer than 21 days after their first dose, 43 had received their first dose or were less than 21 days from their second dose, 577 were fully vaccinated (more than 14 days since their second dose) and 259 were fully vaccinated and more than 14 days from receiving their booster dose.
- 64 cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (3), North West (25), North Central (5), North East (2), Saskatoon (13), Central West (1), Central East (3), Regina (7), South West (1), and South East (4) zones. Details of reassignments are included in a one time table included at the end of the report.
- One (1) case was removed from the North West zone from January 27, 2021.

- Almost two-fifths (37.8%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39.
- As of January 25th, a total of 291 individuals are hospitalized, including 258 inpatient hospitalizations and 33 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 291 patients, 108 (37.1%) were not fully vaccinated.
- The SHA dashboard includes 291 hospitalizations: 258 residents are inpatient: of those, 112 inpatient hospitalizations are a COVID-19-related illness, 120 are incidental COVID infections and 26 have not yet been determined. 33 residents are in ICUs: of those, 22 are for COVID-19-related illnesses, 5 are for incidental COVID infections, and 3 are undetermined. 3 residents are in PICU/NICU: all 3 are for COVID-19-related illnesses.
- Two (2) new deaths reported today. A total of 977 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 0.9%.
- 1,417,946 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of January 23, 2022, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,192,634 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,458,485 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 1,247 (103.5 new cases per 100,000).
