A suspect is being sought by Southey RCMP following a report of an armed robbery at a business in Cupar Saturday night (Jan. 22).

RCMP’s investigation determined a man entered the business, demanded money, then discharged a firearm, but no one was hurt, and the suspect left with a unknown sum of money.

The man is described as standing approximately 6-feet tall with a stocky build, wearing a blue hoodie with a large “Bench” logo on it, blue jeans, black shoes and a medical mask.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about this robbery can contact the Southey RCMP Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
