A long time volunteer has been recognized by the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association.

Kent McMann of Foam Lake received the Volunteer of the Year Award, as part of the 2021 SPRA Recognition Awards.

McMann has helped out with several organizations and events in the community, including the Foam Lake Golf and Country Club, the Foam Lake Combine Lottery, and the Foam Lake Flyers Senior Hockey Team.

The awards are handed out annually to acknowledge contributions made by volunteers and professionals within the recreation and parks industry in the province.
