A Neepawa man is facing 88 luring and child pornography related charges. An extensive investigation by Manitoba’s RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit revealed that a suspect was posing as a teenage male on Snapchat, requesting sexual photos from females under the age of 18 and meeting some in person between March of 2019 and April of 2021. 26-year-old Jaime Centeno was arrested in April of 2021 during a traffic stop where he was found to be breaching court-orders conditions from previous charges in 2018. Centeno remains in custody and he will appear in Brandon Provincial Court on February 10th.
