Theft charges have been made against a Melville man.

On Wednesday, Yorkton RCMP received a complaint of a theft, and determined that an employee of a delivery company had been taking packages that were intended for the company’s customers.

A search of a residence in the Rail City turned up over 40 items including electronics and household appliances.

39-year-old Ricky Novak is facing several charges including Theft from Mail and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime, and he will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on February 28th.
