Saskatchewan residents are warned to be on the lookout for scam calls and phishing emails.

SaskTel has noticed an increase in this illegal activity, targetting people throughout the province.

The wireless company is currently working on preventing these calls and emails from reaching their customers.

Customers are also advised to report any scams to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, and if they believe they were a victim of a scam, to contact the RCMP or local police service.
