Various weather advisories issued in the Parkland Region

A variety of weather-related advisories are in effect in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, thanks to an Alberta Clipper moving east.

A special weather statement is in effect for areas including Dauphin, Russell, Roblin, and Minnedosa, as a mix of gusty winds, 5-15cm of snow and a risk of freezing rain are expected for those regions.

A blizzard warning is in effect for Whitewood, Kipling, Fort Qu’Appelle and Indian Head, with a risk for freezing rain developing and strong wind gusts.

A blowing snow advisory is up for Wynyard, Wadena, Foam Lake and Margo, as those gusty winds may create poor visibility.

And a snowfall warning is in place for Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Swan River and The Pas, as those areas are expected to get 10-15cm.
