Manitoba recorded two more hospitalizations due to COVID-19 today (Tues), for a total of 737.
Total ICU patients with the virus is at 54 – a decrease of two.
According to the provincial Dashboard, 491 new cases were identified: 234 in the Winnipeg Health Region, 92 in the Northern Health Region, 68 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region, 52 in the Southern Health Region, and 45 in the Interlake-Eastern Health Region. That brings total cases to 121,131.
Seven more deaths were recorded for a total of 1,569.
There are 32,013 active cases in Manitoba, and a total of 87,549 recoveries.
An additional 1,716 COVID-19 tests were added to the Dashboard and the provincial test positivity rate is 30.1 percent.
