- As of February 2nd, there are 611 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 119,894 reported cases
- The new cases are located in the Far North West (8), Far North East (8), North West (38), North Central (38), North East (11), Saskatoon (219), Central West (7), Central East (46), Regina (106), South West (11), South Central (28), and South East (33) zones and 58 new cases have pending residence information.
- Of the 611 new cases reported today, 107 were unvaccinated or fewer than 21 days after their first dose, 14 had received their first dose or were less than 21 days from their second dose, 237 were fully vaccinated (more than 14 days since their second dose) and 253 were fully vaccinated and more than 14 days from receiving their booster dose.
- 156 cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (6), Far North East (1), North West (56), North Central (32), Saskatoon (16), Central West (8), Central East (8), Regina (19), South West (3), South Central (4), and South East (3) zones.
- 11 SK residents tested out-of-province were added to the Saskatoon (from January 27 (1), January 29 (1), January 30 (2)), Central West (from January 31 (1)), Central East (from January 31 (1)), Regina (from January 26 (1), January 30 (1), January 31 (1)), and South East (from January 31 (2)) zones.

- As of February 2nd, a total of 372 individuals are hospitalized, including 332 inpatient hospitalizations and 40 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 372 patients, 123 (33.1%) were not fully vaccinated.

- 332 residents are inpatient: of those, 133 inpatient hospitalizations are a COVID-19-related illness, 173 are incidental COVID-19 infections, and 26 have not yet been determined.
- 40 residents are in ICUs: of those, 30 are for COVID-19-related illnesses, and nine (9) are for incidental COVID-19 infections. One (1) resident is in PICU/NICU for COVID-19-related illnesses.
- Four (4) new deaths reported today. A total of 997 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 0.8%.
- 1,442,761 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of January 31, 2022, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,216,468 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,479,554 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 1,022 (84.8 new cases per 100,000).
