The matters of a man facing several charges, following the alleged use of counterfeit currency at a Regina business, were back before the court yesterday (WED).
On May 10th, Regina Police got a report from a Dewdney Avenue business, where someone used or attempted to use fake one-hundred-dollar bills for purchases, on April 17th and May 3rd.
The investigation led to two suspects being identified, and a suspect vehicle located on May 11th, at a home on Alexandra Street, where search warrants were executed and evidence was seized.
37-year-old Pierre Laferte of Regina had his matters adjourned to today (THURS), in Regina Provincial Court.
In December, the charges against his co-accused, 32-year-old Tyson Knutson of Grenfell, were withdrawn.
