- As of February 5th, there are 978 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 122,525 reported cases.

- The new cases are located in the Far North West (5), Far North Central (2), Far North East (12), North West (49), North Central (60), North East (29), Saskatoon (229), Central West (4), Central East (62), Regina (254), South West (35), South Central (46), and South East (124) zones and 67 new cases have pending residence information.
- Of the 978 new cases reported today, 154 were unvaccinated or fewer than 21 days after their first dose, 33 had received their first dose or were less than 21 days from their second dose, 458 were fully vaccinated (more than 14 days since their second dose) and 333 were fully vaccinated and more than 14 days from receiving their booster dose.
- 139 cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North Central (1), North West (19), North Central (35), North East (5), Saskatoon (39), Central West (3), Central East (7), Regina (20), South West (1), South Central (3), and South East (6) zones.
- 32 SK residents tested out-of-province were added to the Far North West (1), North West (1), Saskatoon (14), Central West (4), Central East (1), Regina (5), South West (4), South Central (1), and South East (1) zones.
- One (1) case (repeated test) was removed with a pending residence location from January 9, 2022.

- 25,920 cases are from the North area (11,210 North West, 10,957 North Central, 3,753 North East)
- 10,598 cases are from the Far North area (4,975 Far North West, 603 Far North Central, 5,020 Far North East)
- 16,523 cases are from the South area (3,382 South West, 4,999 South Central, 8,142 South East)
- 9,977 cases are from the Central area (2,305 Central West, 7,672 Central East)
- 1,496 cases have pending residence information
- 9,785 cases are considered active and 111,734 cases are considered recovered.
- Just over one-third (35.0%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39.
- As of February 5th, a total of 345 individuals are hospitalized, including 315 inpatient hospitalizations and 30 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 345 patients, 117 (33.9%) were not fully vaccinated.
- The SHA dashboard includes 345 hospitalizations:
- 315 residents are inpatient: of those, 133 inpatient hospitalizations are a COVID-19-related illness, 166 are incidental COVID-19 infections, and 16 have not yet been determined.
- 29 residents are in ICUs: of those, 17 are for COVID-19-related illnesses, and 12 are for incidental COVID-19 infections. One (1) resident is in PICU/NICU for COVID-19-related illnesses.
- One (1) new death reported today. A total of 1,006 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 0.8%.
- 1,451,023 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of February 3, 2022, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,222,065 tests performed per million population. The national rate was 1,484,994 tests performed per million population.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 855 (70.9 new cases per 100,000).
