Next pre-trial appearance set for a woman charged in connection with an incident on Pasqua First Nation

A new court date has been set for a woman, who’s been committed to stand trial on charges stemming from a May 23rd incident on the Pasqua First Nation.

RCMP were called to a home on the reserve, after a man was hit by a vehicle, and later taken to hospital for treatment.

A woman inside the home was arrested and charged with numerous offences, including Impaired Driving and Aggravated Assault.

Laurenda Kahnapace will make her next pretrial appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench on April 8th.
