A large number of recoveries from COVID-19 was reported in Manitoba.

5,066 more Manitobans recovered from the virus, while 416 new cases were identified, leaving 11,023 active cases, including 1-thousand 706 in the Prairie Mountain Health region.

Hospitalizations decreased in the province to 607, while ICU admissions remained the same at 38.

Manitoba also reported five more deaths due to COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 1,647.
