SGI’s traffic safety focus for January was on intersection safety, and police across the province issued 676 tickets for things like blowing through stop signs and red lights. 29 hundred tickets were issued for speeding and aggressive driving, 403 for distracted driving, 267 for impaired and 200 for seat restraint infractions.
