If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at ice fishing, this is your weekend.

Today through Monday, its free fishing weekend in Manitoba, meaning outside of National Parks you won’t need a license, and regular catch limits apply.

The government also says if visiting a provincial park this weekend, vehicle permits are not needed, but Snowpasses are required for snowmobilers using groomed trails.
