Protests of COVID-19 vaccine mandates and public health orders are planned for this weekend in Saskatchewan.

RCMP are aware of demonstrations that are expected to take place at the North Portal and Northgate border crossings.

Police say the demonstrations may interrupt the normal flow of traffic, and the goal for officers is to restore the orderly flow of traffic in the safest manner possible.

Mounties add that demonstrators without access to a staging area on private land will be turned away from the border crossings.
