One Forecaster Says Much Needed Precipitation Will Fall

An agricultural meteorologist is forecasting precipitation for much of the Prairies, but the weather pattern is not expected to change until after seeding. Drew Lerner with World Weather Inc. notes above normal snowfall has been received across the northern grainbelt and parts of east-central Saskatchewan. However, snowfall has been below normal over southwest and west-central regions. There will be some anxious times for farmers in these areas until a weather ridge moves east and improves the moisture situation from June onward.
