Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 dropped over the long weekend in Manitoba.

553 Manitobans are in hospital, a drop of 30, while ICU admissions also went down by two to 31.

199 new cases of the virus were identified with 74 in Prairie Mountain Health, 48 in Winnipeg, 33 in the North, 24 in Interlake-Eastern and 20 in the South.

12,189 cases are active in the province with 1,977 in the Prairie Mountain Health region, and there were an additional 11 deaths recorded over the weekend.
