The federal government is providing funding to the Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs, as they have launched an initiative to locate unmarked burials at the former Delmas Catholic Residential School and the Battleford Industrial School. Crown-Indigenous Relations minister Mark Miller says almost $3 million in funding has been allocated over 3 years to help those efforts.
