A 44-year-old man facing several charges stemming from an alleged assault at a home in the R.M. of Kelsey last November, was back in court yesterday. When RCMP from The Pas arrived at the home, they were told the suspect was inside the residence along with other adults and children, and was in possession of a firearm. A 21-year-old woman was found outside the residence with minor injuries, and after several hours of negotiation, the suspect exited the house and was arrested without incident, and police seized a firearm and ammunition. Jeremy Cook will make his next appearance in The Pas Court on March 8th.
