Punnichy-district woman charged with Regina murder makes first court appearance

A Punnichy-district woman charged in connection with a homicide in Regina, has made her first court appearance.

23-year-old Hope Cyr is charged with Second Degree Murder and was was remanded in custody, to appear in Regina Provincial Court again on March 8th.

On October 13th, police in the Queen City responded to a report of a deceased person at a home on Ottawa Street.

Upon arrival, police found the body of a woman later identified as 24-year-old Peri Redwood.
