Changes to visitations at Sask. long-term care homes take effect today

Long term care homes in Saskatchewan will be allowing more visitors, beginning today (Mon).

The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced that the majority of long term care homes will move to open family presence.

The return to pre-pandemic family presence protocols provides the opportunity for all residents to welcome more family and visitors.

Outbreaks of COVID-19 will continue to be managed on a case-by-case basis, however, this will be more closely aligned to outbreak management for other diseases.
