AGT Food and Ingredients is adding an oat processing line at its current facility near Saskatoon, at Aberdeen. The Regina-based company says the value-added plant will produce oat groats, flour, and other milled oat products for human consumption, specialty ingredient markets and animal feed products. AGT has been processing pulse crops at the Aberdeen plant for about fifteen years. The company wants to begin accepting oat deliveries after harvest, and be finished all of the construction by the end of the year.
