Lieutenant-Governor Janice Filmon is teaming up with the Manitoba Historical Society, as they look to honour citizens who have made a great effort to ensure the province’s history remains vibrant.
Until April 1st, up to three individuals can be nominated for the 2022 Lieutenant-Governor’s Award for Historical Preservation and Promotion, to be presented this spring, at Government House.

The award goes to those who excel in area such as: the preservation of historic sites, writing historical publications, community service, and the raising of public education and awareness.
