A town hall meeting was held in Swan River on Thursday discussing crime.

Mayor Lance Jacobson says the main focus was how the community can lower the crime rate in the town.

There was also a focus on how residents and businesses can be more vigilant.

Town council, the RCMP Staff Sergeant, and Manitoba’s Justice Department were present at the meeting.
