Melville City Council approved a motion last night to work with a realtor on selling lots on Toronto and Winnipeg Streets at very reduced prices, in an effort to drum up development and grow the community. There are 25 lots available on Toronto Street, ranging from $20 to $25-thousand, and 20 lots on Winnipeg for $13-thousand 500. Public Works Director Andrew Fahlman says last year, plenty of inquiries were made but no purchases for various reasons from supply chain issues to a low desire for new builds.
