Winnipeg woman charged in connection with June 2021 death of Indian Head Mountie back in court

A new court date has been set for one of two Winnipeg residents, arrested in connection with the death of an Indian Head Mountie last year.

43-year-old Marlene Pagee was back in court yesterday (TUES), charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder, and her next court date is set for July 28th, in Regina.

Her co-accused, 42-year-old Alphonse Traverse, is charged with First Degree Murder, and he remains in custody, with a preliminary hearing set for July 19th, in Regina Provincial Court.

On June 12th in Wolseley, Constable Shelby Patton stopped a truck that had reportedly been stolen from Manitoba, and while Patton was out of his vehicle, the truck allegedly ran him over.
