A Man Charged With Passing Phony Money Was Back In Court

A Regina man facing several charges following the alleged use of counterfeit currency was back in court Friday. On May 10th, Regina Police got a report from a Dewdney Avenue business, where someone used or attempted to use fake one-hundred-dollar bills for purchases, on April 17th and May 3rd. 37-year-old Pierre Laferte was remanded to tomorrow. Charges against his co-accused, 32-year-old Tyson Knutson of Grenfell, were withdrawn last December.
