The public had an opportunity to meet and hear the experiences of truckers, who participated in the “Freedom Convoy” in Ottawa, at an event north of Otthon on Saturday. Organizer Crystal Gerein says at its peak there were approximately 300 in attendance and between 10-20 semis showed up, adding she is not done yet when it comes to putting on events like this in the future. One trucker said the whole reason he was part of the Convoy was freedom of choice, adding he came out to Saturday’s event north of Otthon to share his experiences with attendees.
