A Busy Day In Dauphin Court

A Sapotaweyak Cree Nation man arrested in connection with a February 22nd stabbing incident, has appeared in Dauphin court again. 18-year-old Terrance Kematch remanded to next Tuesday. On February 22nd, Swan River RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a home on the reserve, where 3 males had been stabbed, and another man was assaulted.
Meantime, one of 2 Dauphin residents arrested in an October, 2020 drug and firearms bust, have appeared in court there again. 39-year-old Tomson Flatfoot had his matters adjourned until April 12th, 39-year-old Lana Flatfoot had her charges stayed. In October of 2020, Dauphin RCMP searched a home, and seized numerous firearms, along with cocaine, cash, and drug-related paraphernalia.
