A Man Charged With Using Phony $100 Bills Was Back In Court

The matters of a man facing several charges after allegedly passing counterfeit currency at a Regina business were back in court yesterday. Last May 10th, Regina Police got a report about someone using or attempting to use fake one-hundred-dollar bills for purchases, on April 17th and May 3rd. 37-year-old Pierre Laferte of Regina was remanded to April 5th. In December, the charges against his co-accused, 32-year-old Tyson Knutson of Grenfell, were withdrawn.
