Work Starts To Remove The Old Arena In Ituna

Work has started in removing everything from the old arena in Ituna, as a new one is being built at the same location. Arena executive vice-president Dave Renkas says that commenced this past weekend, and he expects the old arena, built in 1961, will be de-constructed in the next few weeks, and the new, $3.8 million steel facility will go up this summer. He’s hoping the new facility will be operational before Christmas this year.
