COVID-19 activity continues to drop in Manitoba.

The province identified 979 confirmed cases of the virus this past week, down from 1-thousand 244 the previous week.

This puts the test positivity rate at 13.9%, also a decrease from 14.5% last week.

Severe outcomes from COVID-19 remain moderately low according to the province, where 111 Manitobans were admitted to hospital this past week, and there were eight more deaths.
