An Ituna man has been charged with Robbery and other offences, in connection with a robbery at a Regina business earlier this year.
On February 25th, police were notified of an attempted robbery at a business on Rochdale Boulevard, in which the male suspect passed a note to the clerk, indicating that he had a gun, and wanted cash, however he fled the scene empty-handed.
Around the same time, police were advised of a stolen vehicle in a parking lot near the scene of the attempted robbery, and that vehicle was later located in Lumsden, and the driver was arrested yesterday (THURS).
Further investigation resulted in the two incidents being linked, with charges against 26-year-old Timothy Nelson Gordon Jones.
He made his first court appearance yesterday (THURS) in Regina, and remains in custody, to appear again on Tuesday (5th).
