A candidate for the leadership of the federal Conservative party made her way to Yorkton. Leslyn Lewis spoke to residents of Yorkton and surrounding area, and one of her main objectives is to help re-unite Canadians, making them feel like their voice is heard no matter which community or background they come from. The leadership election will take place on September 10th after Erin O’Toole was ousted from the position following the 2021 federal election.
