The Province of Saskatchewan has provided details on how nearly 11 million dollars in additional funding for emergency medical care will be allocated to address critical priority areas in 27 communities. Included are ambulance services in Yorkton, Melville, Moosomin, Kipling, Indian Head, and Redvers. Another $653,000 will go to support three additional community paramedicine staff, with one of those full-time positions to cover Wynyard. Wadena and Wakaw, and possibly other locations in the area.
