A Balcarres Man Facing Charges In Regina Was Back In Court

Another court appearance for a Balcarres resident, charged in connection with a firearm offence in Regina last week.  30-year-old Brett Bellegarde, who is charged of Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited, was released from custody yesterday, and he will return to Regina Provincial Court on April 21st, along with his co-accused, 29-year-old Lynden Bellegarde of Balcarres, who is charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of Methamphetamine. Last Monday (Mar. 28), Regina Police were called to a home on the 14-hundred block of Bond Street, where they say a group of masked suspects, allegedly armed with a firearm, tried to rob a man, who fled into the residence and locked the door.
