Terriers’ pushed to brink of elimination after Game 3 loss to Estevan

The Yorkton Terriers let a one goal lead slip away as they fell 2-1 to the Estevan Bruins in Game 3 of their SJHL Semi-Finals.

Former Bruin Erik Boers got the Terriers out to a lead with 2nd period powerplay goal, but two third period goals from the Bruins by Eric Pearce Mikol Sartor was the difference.

Bruins’ G Boston Bilous turned aside 28 of 29 shots to get the win, while Kael DePape for the Terriers made 23 saves.

Yorkton will look to keep their season alive when they host Game 4 of the Best of 7 Semi-Final on Thursday (Apr. 6th).
