An investigation has opened after shots were fired at a residence in Hamiota.

Yesterday (Tues), Yellowhead RCMP were dispatched to the scene on 6th Street, after it was alledged that the suspects fired shots at a residence from a vehicle then fled the scene.

Two individuals were in the home at the time of the shooting, but neither were injured.

Mounties are searching for a dirty black or grey SUV, believed to be a Pontiac Torrent, containing four individuals, which was last spotted headed north on Highway 21.
