Spruce Plains RCMP responded to a fatal two vehicle collision, east of Neepawa.

Around 4:55 this morning (Fri), Mounties responded to the scene on Highway 16, about 21 kilometres east of the community.

Officers found two pick-up trucks that had collided head-on, with one still on the road and the other in the ditch.

Both drivers, and lone occupants, a 44-year-old Gladstone man and a 50-year-old Sandy Bay First Nation man, were pronounced dead at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
